We've finalised the blend for the Harriet Rose, a delicate salmon pink beauty, we've got just 50 cases of this precious wine, named for Harriet - our youngest. She was just 2 months old for the 2013 vintage and spent a large part of it asleep in the corner of the winery office. Unfortunately 4 months later she's not quite so peaceful!
The wine is a traditional Pinot Noir rose, lightly pressed to older french oak for ferment. A touch of residual sweetness (tiny touch, 6g/L) but beautifully balanced with a fresh acidity.
Harriet Rose will be released on the 15th of August and will be just perfect drinking in the lead up to summer.
