Peaches and apples, some sweet grapefruit, vanilla and toast. A satin texture emerges as the wine becomes more ambient and opens out in glass. A whisper of gun flint adds depth and complexity. Produced in the traditional méthode style, it has spent three years aging on lees, allowing complex flavours and aromas to develop. Expect enticing notes of crisp green apple, luscious peach, and a subtle whisper of strawberry, all beautifully balanced by a vibrant acidity.

On the palate, fine, silky bubbles create a luxurious texture, while the wine’s lively mousse and refreshing finish make it perfect for both special occasions and casual enjoyment. Its elegance and finesse reflect the care and craftsmanship behind every bottle.

Food Pairing:
A versatile companion at the table, DQ Blanc de Blancs pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes. Try it with freshly shucked oysters, delicate seafood dishes like seared scallops or smoked salmon, or creamy cheeses such as triple-cream brie. For dessert, a zesty lemon tart or light berry pavlova will complement its vibrant flavors beautifully.

A bouquet filled with raw energy and youth. Though 3 years on lees this wine has some settling in time still to take. Aromas and flavours of Apple and white peach, white strawberry and lemon. The mousse has a resounding vigor with medium bubble, acidity is high and fruit flavours emerge again after the acidity and mousse dissolve on the palate. White strawberry, peach and apple, the autolysis is mild with some lees and spice qualities. A wine that will need some cellar time to soften just a little and develop. Best drinking likely from 2026 through 2035. In the meantime I suggest a dozen oysters to accompany this wine.

- Cam Douglas, Master Sommelier
